Clerodendrum

Clerodendrum thomsonae, also called "Bleeding-heart vine", has quilted, papery leaves. The flowers have an inflated calyx and a red corolla. This plant is a member of the Verbenaceae family and originates in Tropical West Africa and the Congo.
